“When I first left Albania, I didn't know that I was going to be a member of Albanian
Church in Philadelphia. And I didn't know that the pastor of that church would be the
same pastor who was a real blessing for me in Albania. Even though things were not
perfect, and we had many challenges as a church, for me it has been a blessing being part
of it. Something was drawing me to continue receiving the blessings and the joy of being
part of that church. And I know it was the presence of the Holy Spirit that wanted us

“My father became ill December 13 of 2008. We almost lost all of our hope that he would
survive all the health challenges he was going through. As of today, February 20, my father
is still in the hospital. Without the hope and courage God gives us every day, without the
strength that only God can gift us with, and without the thoughts and prayers of our
Christian church family, Pastor Rick and his wife Patti, we wouldn't have made it to be
peaceful and hopeful. God hears our prayers and will lead us the way always. We have
faith, and we leave all of our concerns on God’s hands.” S.Y.
JESUS has done so much in the past few months. One of the greatest miracles he has done
for me is heal my grandmother in Albania since she was very sick and Jesus touched her
and made her feel better and healthier. Jesus has slowly showed me a way how to
overcome all the obstacles at work due to a difficult time we went through with short
staffing. The only thing I can do is faith in God and let him guide me through my journey.
What Church means to me is magical place where "We" all gather together and worship
God. It is a place where God touches each individual and all of us as a whole and comfort
everyone with his power. V.K.
